The financial statements of an organization are the records of the business story represented in numbers. The ability to read and analyse financial statements helps in determining risk and profitability for a business. The focus of the course will be to understand the dominant financial statements, namely the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement and be able to analyse the financial performance, position, and resilience of an entity to make sound decisions.
